ICRA 2019 Workshop on Robot Design and Customization: Opportunities at the Intersection of Computation and Digital Fabrication
We’re excited to announce a workshop on Robot Design and Customization: Opportunities at the Intersection of Computation and Digital Fabrication at ICRA 2019. The workshop will bring together the robotics, rapid fabrication, and computational design communities to discuss the challenges and opportunities in custom robot design, focusing on two major questions:
- How can computational approaches enhance workflow and facilitate the design and rapid prototyping of robots?
- How can new materials and manufacturing approaches lead to uniform processes for fabricating robots on-demand?
We are looking for interested participants to submit 2-page abstracts for short presentations or posters. Check out this website for more details.
